The structure of a life, existing through various clusters of repeating patterns, reliant on consistency but made tangible by the phasing of human error. Denying the emotionally energized expansion and contraction of time, preferring instead the duration of silences between sound.

Structures is the first vinyl release for the Noir Age label and the sixth album by Night Foundation. Drawing inspiration from Early Minimal music as well as the cinematic scores of Michael Nyman. Two long form pieces bookended with two complimentary miniatures intended as entrance and exit points to the musical architecture of a trance-suggestive, geometric center.

Night Foundation is the solo project of mixed media artist and non-musician Richard Vergez.
